The launch approaches!

Yesterday we packed up all of our stuff for storing it at a friend's house, and packed our travel bags for the trip. We only have one large duffel bag and two little backpacks. Minimal equipment! By the time we get back in four months the clothes are all worn out...

Last night was also a time to party as we held - not a farewell party but a celebration of life, adventure and travel (La Vida es un Viaje). Many friends joined to say "see you soon" and we even had a little choir performance, along with great food, drinks and chats.

Now it's time to tidy up our room and make everything ready for an early start. As of tomorrow we are homeless! Our first flight is at 7am, which means waking up around 4. Well, better get used to it. Santa Cruz, here we come!
